but will Strong stick with Gilbert? god I hope not.

Now this is where the real discussion needs to be...not firing CCS cause he is staying. Gilbert has to go. There will be plenty to look at for OC after the Dec signing period.

USF on the path to oblivion. Remember, it's not the destination but the journey that counts.

Well at this point Michael Kelly is making Strong HIS guy. I really hope this all works out. If there aren't staff/philosophy changes and we lose the opener in ugly fashion against Wisconsin then the VPoA will see a tremendous amount of the apathy he talks about in the article.

I'm just curious about the Gilbert has to go mentality if we're ok with CCS staying.  What makes anyone think that will change things?

Running more than 7 plays will certainly help the offense. Even if CCS isn't taking risks an OC with and actual playbook should be an upgrade

We don’t know. But with CCS staying we are hoping for half a loaf. The only stock I have in this is Kelly being able to convince him how important it is. I know it is a long shot.

Strong doesnt do anything regarding the offense.

We just need to convince him that college football isnt about the running game anymore and fast paced.

Hopefully someone can show him the light.
