Will that day ever come? It's been 9 years ...

Being a Bulls fan means always thinking that day will come next year no matter how many times that next year never comes.

These people on here keep picking on that scab.

I am a man of high ethics and morals (I know, not cool).  It may take a while.

I want to be proud of my school, family, company, etc.

I’ll probably be a little bit more over it when Judy is gone.  Yes she has done good things, but this is the biggest stain on her record.

Mental Hell is relative, one person’s mental hell is another person’s mental playground.

I'm running with giddy abandon through your mental hell right now. It's fantastic.

I continued to donate after Leavitt was fired.  Although I’ll say it felt horrible.  It was not because Leavitt was fired, not a connection to him, but a feeling my institution acted improperly, used an alleged incident to their advantage and wrongfully terminated and carelessly harmed someone they felt they could sacrifice.   They also distributed some lies and inaccurate information.  Unfortunately, while I still donate, buy tickets, giveaway tickets and support the program, I’ll be happier when I no longer feel the shame of what my school did in its early days - seemingly drunk on the success Leavitt, their target, created.

I've taken some grief about buying season tickets if leavitt were hired back. Everyone reads that as "I stopped because he was fired". That is far from true. I still had them through 2012, but, then I got engaged, then married, then had a baby. I can no longer devote entire saturdays to going to USF games. I miss it like hell, but, I can't justify buying tickets right now. If I am a bad fan because my family is more important to me than USF Football, so be it.

How many people have said "if USF would announce a fund for an OCS, I'd be donating and I bet a lot of others would too"? A lot of people. It's no different. We all want USF to give us a reason for excitement. For some it's the coach, for some it's facilities, for some it's winning. Even those who are big donors probably have deeper pockets for things they are really excited about. It's not about supporting a coach more than the program, it's about the excitement around the program's trajectory.

Buying USF football tickets is not in any world a moral obligation.

looks like K- State has moved on from Leavitt. I think they are waiting on North Dakota state to finish they're latest national championship run.
