the future is youth.

i don't think you're filling the stadium with middle-aged adults who remember "the good ol' days" of Jim Leavitt's 8 & 9 win ceilings.

if u want to bring fans to the program, target the young fans of the future by making USF football exciting again. the pool of potential young fans is exponentially larger than the pool of aging old farts that have been grumpy for a decade since CJL was fired.

& if Donors aren't donating because of CJL's termination, then our donors are trash. get this team winning & playing exciting football & actual USF Donors (not xCJL donors) will open their wallets.

jussayin.

IF Leavitt was hired back, I would again purchase season tickets even if I couldn't make the games.

So you would support the coach, but not USF? Welcome to life in the G5.

This is my personal opinion, but anyone whose donations/ticket buys are contingent on certain people being fired/hired are in it for the wrong reason. Sadly, we need their money too, but I hope for a day when some jackass can say, "I'm not buying seats, unless Coach Johnny is fired." And we can respond, "we are going to miss you, luckily, we have someone lined up to take your seats. Good bye."

Actually when I look around Ray Jay outside of the student section I notice a lot of middle agers.  But maybe that is because I'm sitting in a section that requires relatively large donation amounts.  And look through the list of Iron Bull donors and pick out the young ones. And by young I mean under 40.  We have finally gotten over 100 Iron Bulls.  Pretty pathetic when you look at the number of alums in the area.

Also, and I am not going looking for this, hasn't it been determined that younger people aren't into going to live sporting events as much as the past?

I know one donor that quit when CJL got fired. Have tried to talk him into getting back into it.

i may be (an older) millennial, but I still believe in objective reality.

everything else isn't reality, it's hallucination or delusion.

I'm triggered!

Under our current pricing structure that isn't a true statement

I consider $400/seat a rather large donation.  Especially when I'm buying 8 seats.

Fair enough.

How about for someone purchasing 2 seats?

We have people on here that think $99 season tickets are high.  $800 is a decent amount for a lot of people. Like I said, I don't see a lot of young couples in our section.  Do see many Iron Bulls there.

Iron Bulls are spread out in various sections these days.
