Shame I think Texas State would be a good fit for Gilbert. He is very Texas centric and I don't think he can adjust to Florida skill sets.

Petrino's known incident of adultery occurred while he was at Arkansas, not Louisville.

Yeah, it just alleged in a divorce proceeding of Said booster.  The Booster's lawyers asked to subpoena all of Strong's communications with the booster's wife.  In the end they settled so Strong never had to surrender the communications or be deposed.  I'd say between that potential drama and just having another retread flame out UL was never going to seriously consider CCS.  Especially with the opportunity to bring a young coach with an exciting offense back home.

Gilbert's offense is a perfect fit for the Big 10 and CCS's personality is about as exciting as Purdue's football program.  Sounds like a match made in heaven!!!!

Early sources were wrong on Brohm. No openings at Purdue but UL is still looking
