would appear gilbert is mentioned but way down the list of potentials..school wants an oc as a head coach is the new normal but, I would think one look at a guy who's offense flamed at texas and now is failing at another program good poss they wont touch him. But then, it's good to want.

I haven't seen his name much. I think if Brohm turns down UL, then we may see him as a finalist for that gig.

We're finally about to learn Jeff Brohm's decision — he had truly been split between staying at Purdue and going to Louisville — but given that he was in West Lafayette an hour ago, instead of on a planned recruiting stop in Chicago, it seems he's leaning towards heading home to Louisville.

We will know soon

I wouldn’t be surprised if brohm turns down Louisville. They might go after strong but their might be some problems since he had an affair with a big boosters wife. Maryland might be possible but I suspect they will remove the interim tag off their current coach

But do you call a team meeting to tell them you are staying?

You could, but I'm guessing not.

I suspect CCS replaces him and we see a slightly more competent conservative offense.

I could live with "competent conservative." It's the pos conservative that's the problem.

No, not really but with the way to season turned out you can understand the let's see how this works out mindset some teams might be having towards him. I don't think there were very many good fits for him anyway. But a lot can change as well. If Derek Mason goes to Colorado, you might see his name come up for Vandy. We also don't know what message his agent is sending out there, as far fetched as it might seem, he might want to come back here. In any case, it's a better look than him jumping ship to a sun belt team.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
