Yeah, I commented on this in the Coaching Carousel thread but I think the best chance will be When some P5 school takes the North Texas coach late in the game and with some of these other candidates off the table, they take a shot with Gilbert. I think Briles should just let the money go and take the job, unless he believes that Major Applewhite is on his way out.

Is he getting any sniffs from anyone?

I haven't seen his name much. I think if Brohm turns down UL, then we may see him as a finalist for that gig.

I'm dubious it makes things much better. He probably goes there and opens their offense up.

I suspect CCS replaces him and we see a slightly more competent conservative offense.
