I think we’ve come full circle. Kinda hate to bring it up but didn’t this year have a CJL-year like feel to it after it's all said and done?

No

You’re right. “Feel” was the wrong word to use. Should have said something to the tune of “the way it played out”.

USF was in the big east from 2005-2012. CJL has 5 YEARS in the big leagues. He got fired in 2010, but had a good 5 years. CSH had 2 years in the big East. altogether this school was a p5 school for 7 years and 5 of those years went to CJL who didnt win chiit.

just pointing out the fact he wasn't there when uconn won in 2010.

probably unrealistic to expect any school to win a BCS conference in their 13th year of existence but he was 8 points shy of claiming the title  when uconn won it in 2007.

I agree, good start and then fizzle out. Classic CJL.

Does anyone know how many times CJL lost five in a row at any point during any season? I’ll give you a hint if you take the number of times and added it to the number of times he lost to UCF you could still count it on zero fingers.

Actually come to think of it 4 in a row never once happened either, yet I am the revisionist.

Is losing five in a row really much worse than losing 5 out of the last seven?

Yes most people would say that’s worse. But I’ll play along. How many times did that happen? I have once in 2004 when it’s widely believed we redshirted more people than usual in preparation for the move to the Beast.

08 and 09 Don't count the bowl game yet because it's not applicable

So it’s not the last game of the last games? That would have been a nice qualifier to have had in advance.

You could also point out his 8-8 CUSA record and 25-26 big east record. I know you will point out that that its the big east versus the AAA but I can't pretend that the big east was all that much better, it was kicked out by the big boys for a reason and only one of the teams that joined the P5 has been successful since. I mean I'm not trying to dog on CJL but I just don't think his tenure here was all that much better outside of two weeks in 07
