Strong has had 3 good seasons as a HC.  Teddy Bridgewater was the QB for the 1st 2 and QF the other.  Otherwise he is very average.

Agreed on all. However, who is going to dog that deep after seeing he’s 17-7? All people see is the record and the school looks bad for canning the guy. Never mind Strong is trending in the wrong direction.

If you frame it along the lines of keeping him here is a budgetary problem for the program, who would be against cutting him loose and bringing in a less experienced/cheaper new head HC and staff?

And maybe we should start doing this anyway-- we are still trying to pay people like we are a BCS school.

Who honestly cares what people think? I really doubt any good candidate wouldn’t see why he was fired. He has underachieved and things aren’t trending in the right direction. Also he should be fired for his press conference answers. He doesn’t want to be here, so show him the door.

If MK can't explain it to candidates in 10 minutes then they aren't candidates we would want. A trend line and a HB Dive/Press Conference super cut video should make it clear to potential coaches.
