I agree, but who in their right mind would step into this firestorm? 10-2 and 7-5 isn't good enough... Who would take that job? Trust me, I expect excellence, but Kelly has to be very careful with his decisions.

We need to keep Strong on a short leash, but firing him will accomplish nothing.

I agree with all of this, but who is going to be our saving grace, and why would they come to Tampa to dive into this shitstorm that has transpired?

I used to think that were true until I watched a passionless coaching staff give up on their team all game long.

Ignore the record-- it is not important. If an employee suddenly starts failing consistently, all the previous success in the world is not a reason to IGNORE that failure. Right now, CCS and staff could not coach their way out of a wet paper bag. A new coach would understand this situation. That we had to let this play out so long is partially because they found ways to pull wins out in the early part of the season. That team and thinking is long gone.

A new coach and staff would come in and straighten out the problems. In play calling alone it might be enough. I am not thrilled with CCS as a head coach currently-- he shows practically no emotion whatsoever. And he unwillingness to make any CHANGE at OC is simply ridiculous.

at a minimum-- Gilbert has to go. But at this point, the whole staff has been tainted by this lackluster level of leadership.

Understand, but you have to give Strong a chance to make the necessary changes. He's in the hot seat and he knows it. If we don't see any changes in front our bowl game, then I think it's time to pull the trigger on Strong. Trust the process.

Willie came here after Skip, and someone will come here after Strong. There is always someone who wants a job

He did say in his presser that there does have to be changes in the offense. Minimally Gilbert is gone...

he's changed nothing all season long-- this bad play was going on from the first snap of the season. I have seen nothing remotely similar to improvement-- quite the opposite in fact. Our team is regressing every week. The writing is on the wall and we need to cut him loose while it is cheap to do so.

I want to clean the house as much as the next guy, but doing so will set us back even further. Our program needs stability, of which we haven't seen in a decade.
