GAME DAY vs UCF

USF will close out the regular season with the 10th installment of the War on I-4. The teams meeting Friday beat both the ACC Coastal champion (Pittsburgh) and runner-up (Georgia Tech) this season. The teams combined for 91 points and 1,186 yards in last season’s epic clash won by UCF (49-42). Ranked No. 8/9, UCF is the highest ranked opponent to take the field at Raymond James Stadium since the Bulls lost to No. 4 Florida State, 30-17, in 2012. A victory would mark the highest ranked foe defeated at home since No. 11/13 Kansas (37-34) in 2008. USF downed No. 5 West Virginia (21-13) in 2007 for the last top 10 foe beaten and highest ranked ever beaten at home, one of two top 10 ranked FBS foes beaten at home.

WAR ON I-4: The War on I-4 resumes as part of a department wide sports series between USF and UCF, schools separated by approximately 100 miles of Florida Interstate 4. The War on I-4 all-sports series began in 2016 and has been won by UCF the last two years. The Knights currently lead the 2018-19 series, 15-6. The football teams play for the War on I-4 trophy unveiled in 2016. USF leads the football series, 6-3, and has won two of the last three meetings. This marks the fifth time at least one team has entered ranked and the third straight two bowl eligible teams will meet.

SENIOR DAY: USF will honor 18 seniors that have been a part of the most successful era in program history, including a record 36 wins in the last four seasons. The Bulls have qualified for four straight bowl games, won two bowls games over Power 6 opponents, been ranked in the Top 25 for a program record 20 straight weeks and during three straight seasons, posted the first two 10-win seasons in program history, and won 20 of their last 24 games in Raymond James Stadium. (see page 5).

Other Helpful Information

// With a large expected attendance, traffic patterns, especially outbound traffic, may be different to account for an increased number of patrons.

// Tailgating must cease in the parking lots at kickoff. Emergency lanes must be kept clear in the parking lots. Please keep tailgates confined to space immediately behind your vehicles to allow space for an emergency vehicle to access should the need arise.

// New this season, we are offering children aged 12-under the exciting opportunity to enter the playing field through the Bulls tunnel and run across the end zone prior to the Bulls taking the field to start the game. No prospective student-athletes, defined as students aged 13 and up,  may be allowed to participate or chaperone any other participants. One parent per family may escort children through the experience if necessary. In order to participate, please visit the Junior Bulls on Parade tent in Bulls Bay on the south plaza to get a Beef O' Brady's Junior Bulls on Parade wristband. This tent may be found directly outside the ticket office.

Bulls Bay will open immediately following the Stampede, and the table will close at 3:15 PM. At that time you can go inside Gate C and sign up at a table there as well. Once you have signed up and received your wristband, you must enter the stadium at Gate C, where you will gather and wait for further instruction.

We only have 200 wristbands available, so make sure you arrive at Bulls Bay in a timely manner to ensure you can participate. You must be inside Gate C no later than 3:45 PM.

Heading over shortly. Not very optimistic about the outcome but if we are going to pull an upset I don't want to miss it. Go Bulls!

Our own are worse than theirs and definitely not at the game today.
