Same with hundreds of crybaby members here.  Bitched and wanted him gone, 8-9 wins in BCS Big East not good enough for a team that was 10-12 years old.

Those members vanished.

I always thought he needed more years to catch up (talent/depth) while the program "caught it's breath" from its rapid ascension.  But it was that rapid ascension that make people (including influential donors) feel entitled and too demanding with unrealistic expectations.

They ripped out the heart, soul and leader of the program without any clear path/goals of where to go from there.

Ha, I chuckled at that. Passive aggressive swipe at us?

I'm looking forward to potentially messing up C's season in our pro stadium.  Anything can happen in rivalry games.

Heard that too.  A direct shot at us, especially since in the next breath he mentioned our game next week.

Complete, except you left out the part about the pure hubris on behalf of Doug and Judy.

Judy, for all of her going to athletic events, is still not really a supporter of FB. Sure, she does some things but she is not all in lijecsome presidents...

When did USF win 8-9 conference games?  OOC wins mean diddly squat if you don’t win your conference.

Very, very, true. NAS calls it straight.

Never, of course.  I wasn't suggesting that - most would figure that out.

OOC wins mean a lot Ned, when you're trying to establish credibility.  Especially for a young program that survives on payday games.

Winning the conference is nice, if it's a real conference like the Big East.  We didn't do that and chopped off the head of the program.  Haven't found a fit yet.

Since we're talking about Leavitt and the BEast... That would have been quite an accomplishment since there were only 7 conf games 😄

I would much rather be winning 9 games and losing the BEAST every season while beating up on marquee out of conference opponents than losing to marquee programs and winning 9 AAC games to take the AAC conference championship every season and I feel that anyone that says they don’t feel that way is being entirely disingenuous. So we don’t have conference hardware? Does the AAC give out a conference championship? Where would you put it? Somewhere below your presidents blue athletic patches from elementary school? And maybe just above your coed kickball participation trophy?
