The moment I knew something was wrong with this coaching staff was in the first quarter of the San Jose game last year. We looked sloppy and it has never changed.

I was saying the same thing, right before the half when we had 56 seconds and had just converted a first down and had timeouts left.

I knew spineless would pack it in, had that been Taggart he would have tried his best to score. We lack killer instinct, this game in the first half was right in Strongs wheelhouse get up a touchdown or two and kill the clock. This playing it close to the vest old school respect your opponent BS needs to go along with Strong.

I like Taggart, Spurrier and Leach type mentalities, if we can beat you by 100 we will.

Yep lucky he had Flowers last year or this team would have been lucky to win 6+ games.

Starting the season vs a crappy team and down big early was a big warning sign that this guy isn't a good coach.

There was actually 1:40 left before the half and we had all 3 timeouts when we stopped them on third down. We let them run it down to :54 seconds before they punted instead of calling timeout. I knew then that the offense was done for the day.

I'm not a football guy, but a former basketball coach and I was screaming at the waste of time and momentum.  It's not there, but close to Skippy's lack of using timeouts against FSU.

I thought we were done when we decided not to use the final :54 seconds of the first half and just burn it out.

The way we went into the half was foreshadowing. It told how we were going to play in the second half. These coaches still don’t understand that you can’t throttle the offense then at the flip of a switch turn it back on again, against most decent defenses.

I mentioned it to everyone here after the 2nd half kick.

The difference in energy between the teams was noticeable.
