I dont think CJL will ever be involved with USF unless its in a ceremonial aspect ever again.

Nevertheless, WHAT a fall from grace for Petrino. Geeeeez.

One coach got fired on his return trip, well that settles that. Reasons to think it would work out better than our average: CSH, CWT and CCS. Granted this is all fantasy but the odds say our next coach will fair worse than a rehired CJL because every coach since CJL has been worse than CJL.

I can't think of too many coaches that have gone back and had success.  I'm sure there are a couple but I think of Joe Gibbs going back to Washington.  Petrino didn't work out.  Having trouble recalling others.  Did Barry Switzer come out of retirement?  The guy up in Connecticut isn't setting the world afire.

We have 12 threads a week begging USF to fire a guy who's doing what Bill Snyder's done at K-State in his second go 'round.

78-48 with no conference titles and a 3-5 bowl record.

That's 8-5 with a bowl loss for a decade.

John Robinson at USC. But regardless, neither of these returns produced the same success as the initial campaign.

Bill Snyder went 10-2 and 11-1 after he returned
