Well you’re in luck because there’s a 5% chance he would ever accept this job. He’s the best non-HC on the market and is the next great P5 HC.

Great..let someone else take him

He’s 37. Eventually he’s going to want to get out from under Dabo and run his own team. Plus, he’s from Arcadia

His contract is for about $1.9 million this year. How much do you think we’d pay?

not sure where you see that. Perhaps you are mistaking him for their DC. According to this article he makes $850K

we are a stepping stone job. the question is do you want a guy on his way up or one on his way down?

Jeff Scott (co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers) $850,000

Jeff Scott - OC Clemson

Ryan Day - OC / interim @ Ohio State

Have you watched tOSU's offense lately? They are a mess.

Next coach needs to be an upcoming P5 OC.  Like others have said, even it’s a stepping...who cares.  It means we’re winning and having success.

this conference is where prospective p5 coaches come to audition. we need to accept that fact.

football is an offensive minded game now. no more three yards and a cloud of dust old school coaches.

There’s no reason it can’t be a younger P5 OC and wants to get some experience as a HC. See Chad Morris.

Jake Spavital at WVU could fit this mold
