Maybe our AD can call UCF's AD and make him an offer to buy the game and move it to Orlando....

UCF has done a better job getting their fan base excited. The people on this message board that oppose an OCS will never, ever get it. They will just keep whining, ******** and making excuses.

College football is about the experience. The atmosphere. The band. The excitement of celebrating your team, your alma mater ON YOUR CAMPUS.

The longer we drag our feet on making this happen the quicker and wider the gap will become. Ask any UCF fan to compare their home games at the Citrus Bowl vs their new stadium. See how many prefer the Citrus Bowl....the answer will be zero.

Before you ask me how we pay for it, I’ll answer it for you...I don’t care. It just has to happen. It should have already happened.

I guess it was a bit of a threadjack. Although it was unintentional. I just never envisioned a time where we would be locally and nationally perceived as inferior to UCF. And the truth is that it’s happened, and it sucks. It really sucks.

It doesn’t have to be a permanent thing, but it will be if we don’t get the OCS.

I can take all the whining, moaning, and firing talk as long as people still try & support the team (players).

If you feel too embarrassed to show up against a rival, imagine how the players will feel with their home field taken from under them. We have little chance of them manning up for UCF if no one is there to motivate them.

This! Those that leave are not really the true blood USF fans...

Outside of USF and UCF fans, the nation doesn't really care.  They believe what ESPN tells them.  We're both in an inferior conference.  Just like we had our good days with Flowers at qb, they'll have Milton a few more years and then it will be back to mediocrity.  Fighting over the scraps from the P5 for recruiting will never give us a complete team.  We'll always be lacking in some category.

Outside of USF/UCF? UCF has been in the national media for awhile now. Hate us or love us, the nation knows about us. Couldn't be more wrong about that. And believing whatever ESPN tells them? ESPN has been shatting on us for a long time, the narrative is slowly starting to turn.

Did you forget we had Bortles before Milton? QF went to USF, they are out there. It helps having a former QB as a coach to spot talent. Unfortunately for you, Strong had eyes getting back to the P5 and left the ship awhile ago. Meanwhile UCF's head coach is juiced to be at UCF and the enthusiasm is contagious.

Isn't that THE problem...because even with Flowers at QB, you still never won a divisional title let alone a conf title...yet UCF has done that over and over again with SIX different QB's since 2005:

2005: Divisional Title (Moffett QB)

2007: Divisional and Conference Championship (Israel QB)

2010: Divisional, Conference and Liberty Bowl Championship (Godfrey QB)

2012: Divisional Title (Bortles)

2013: Conference and Fiesta Bowl Championships (Bortles)

2014: Shared Conference Title (Holman QB)

2017: Divisional, Conference, Peach Bowl and National Championship (Milton)

2018: To be determine

UCF has built a solid PROGRAM (on and off the field)...while the bulls have had some good teams in their past but they have nothing in their program to show for it.

Any smart betting man will probably put their $$$ on UCF achieving more over the next decade or two than say the bulls...just based on past success.

So does this mean we have a transitive conference championship in C-USA?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
