A lot of misinterpretations when emotions are stoked.   It's what makes communication nearly impossible.  Correct, your words were "as an attorney hate speech".  I misinterpreted that.  A comma might have helped.

I was wrong in thinking it was a mistake/accident that would be fixed by the poster. It was not and then every instance in the thread was edited.
