Seeking advice/opinions from locals in Tampa...if you had money to invest in a residential property where would you purchase?  Which area within Tampa is the best up & coming area with future development in the works?  What is the best bang for your investment buck?

Thank you,

Thank you,

Tampa specifically, or the greater Tampa Bay area?

Seminole Heights, Davis Island, West Shore area.  South Tampa in general is a better investment than the burbs

Seminole Heights...is that where Ulele is located?  Which by the way was fantastic.

Eh not really.  Seminole heights is a little north.  Its centered around the areas between Sligh and MLK along Florida and Nebraska.

West shore area is really nice in my opinion. As for investment returns or market stability, no idea.

Hottest in the Tampa area is actually the 54 corridor in Pasco, Wesley Chapel to Trinity.  Odessa around the Suncoast/Veterans is central to the entire region.  If you are looking for urban, then while Tampa Heights, West Tampa, and Seminole Heights have interesting booms going on, you are going to deal with some blight and crime.  Those areas have been "up and coming" for the past 20 years if you catch my drift.  Pretty much south of Kennedy is where the money mostly goes, but you get so much less there.
