Had a nice throw to Wilcox down the middle on the early FG drive.

Liked the 8 yard short throw to McCants on the same drive which allowed him some YACs down to the 10.

Didn't see many other throws to the middle until the 4th quarter.

True play action on the dive play would have everyone within 10 yards of the line crashing in, especially the second one when everybody in the stadium knows it's coming.

Here’s my opinion:

BB has the body and arm of a classic prototype, blue chip pocket passer. But his accuracy, pocket presence, and field vision leave a bit to be desired.

That said....the kid is tough! He is a gamer. He has good legs and should actually run more.

I don’t think he’s going to develop into a “pure” NFL caliper passer, but he can develop into a consistent winner if developed and coached properly.

It wasn’t pretty a lot of the time but the kid helped us get a win tonight. He’s earned my respect.

He plays better and the offense moves when he pulls the ball down and is a threat to run. He doesn't do that early in games and that's why we've been a slow starting offense.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
