Why do we do this .....? There were some that wanted an open competition for qb in the Spring of 2016 ...... It's what we do.

We where right about Mike White, he turned out to be the best pro prospect at QB to come out of USF, but instead CWT decided to start a running back at QB

To be fair Mike White couldn't play in CWT system. it required the QB to be mobile and make plays with his feet. White was not that guy, but Flowers was great for us. I can't fault Slick Willy for that call.

Actually White was perfect for the initial system that fCWT tried to implement.  He didn't have the horses up front to block for the power run game.  Flowers was perfect for escaping the rush and then the change of the offense suited QF perfectly.

I think ECU may have hit a home run with hiring blackwell at DC.  Could be their tom Allen.   He will be a P5 DC next year.   

I'm giving credit to their defense.  Could be the best one we face all year.

After AW broke his foot, it was even more clear to Mike White that CWT held a hateful grudge against NFL caliber QBs.
