I am in the minority clearly in wanting a winnable g5 game at home to treat the fanbase to an extra home game and add revenue

I just don't think we have the fan base to make enough money with the extra home game.

Playing a "name" team will help grow our fan base.

Payday game it is, against a west coast pee5 school (so they are more confident the travel will throw players and fans off. Spoiler alert: it wont!)

We need a cupcake if we already have Wisconsin, GT and BYU on the schedule.

Why? what does that get us other than a W to count for bowl eligibility, do you think we won't get 6 wins?

I understand this thinking, but how will that help? We have no shot for the CFP, as seen from a 13-0 team from last year. As long as we are the G5, nobody will take us seriously. If the hope is to look good for the next conference expansion, I think USF’s record the last 35 games speaks for itself.

Has a team from the "g5" beat 4 "p5" teams and won their conference championship and been left out?

Schedule up if you think we deserve anything more than a conference championship, ever, especially 2019.

Okay. I change my answer. Go schedule Rutgers as the cupcake.

I think when i originally made the list those schools were not scheduled, but just found out they are.So what I highlighted in this screen shot is who is the most realistic or best option in my opinion. image.png.3b15e25c34a6e96b9b2d38b91fcecd51.png

Based on this list provided by GatorBull325 below.    We have to find a team that wants to come to our house.  Not a lot of options on that list.

Already posted it a few pages ago

1.       Minnesota

2.       Nebraska

3.       Baylor

4.       Kansas

5.       Iowa State

6.       Kansas State

7.       Rutgers

8.       Northwestern

9.       Purdue

For 2019 none of the teams listed above are available. The only known P5 school available that has a slot open is TCU. I don't think it is realistic to believe that we are going to be able to schedule something with TCU this last in the game, so I would expect an FCS school to close out the 2019 schedule.

Yea, I think we have also Miami, FIU, UAB, Louisiana and UTSA left to choose from. TCU would be awesome!

From my interaction with both VPAMK and those at fbschedules, Miami is not available and since they are a private school they do not have to disclose it.
