Wish he had stuck around for his last year.  Valdez-Scantling, Adams and McCants was a good combo....

Mitchell would hold the top spot if he hadn't left early most likely. He was probably our most talented WR to date in my opinion. Good combo of speed and size. StFelix could get there as well. He needs to add some weight and I don't think he's as tall as listed.

Across the board, I feel like our WR corps is deeper than it has ever been. McCants is a beast, he should move well up the board by the end of the year.

Yeah I guess you need a pass-first QB like Barnett which we've never had until now.

I'm not replying to argue with you or anything bad, but because I have been around so long, I do like to educate the younger fans when I see things like this.

We have had a very good pocket passer QB in our history, who was not a running threat at all. (and we ran a pro style offense to suit his skills). Chad Barnhardt, who was our QB our first two seasons.

Thank you!  I was finishing up high school when he was playing.  I'll bet Barnhardt would love to be throwing passes to guys like St. Felix and Salomon now.

You are right, but he had some receivers too, and he had a big TE with good hands. While in pure talent we have a lot more now than we did back in those first couple years, there were some talented athletic players then too. (at least two players from our Inaugural Team played in the NFL: Kenyatta Jones and Anthony Henry).

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
