Does anyone else see a different Charlie Strong this year?  He seems happy and  motivated.  I wasn't 100% on the bandwagon last year, but with what I see in him now I'm all aboard.

Yeah, by all means. Last year I was concerned if he really wanted to be here, now I’m excited because it seems like a full turnaround.

coaches have to settle in to new situations just as much as players do-- seems normal

but yeah-- he is definitely more in control of the team than before. They have bought in to his methods clearly.

Agree 150%.  At both Bulls Walks this year, Charlie was smiling, high fiving and thanking people for coming to the game.  Last year, he was not smiling and staring at the ground ahead of him.  I took it for being focused, but I like the newer CCS better.

GO BULLS!

He was the last person to walk into the tunnel after the game and I  waited to have him pass by to tell him thank you and good job and he had  a smile under neath his hat as he ran by. Cool stuff.

I spoke with him at an event at the Tampa Sport Club.  I asked him about how much it meant to him to not have the pressure he came under by alumni and fans back in Texas and indicated that it means a lot.  Coaches are always under a lot of pressure to perform (and are paid well to), but being able to concentrate more on the team has to be a relief.

He is so more relaxed. At Monday’s presser he was asked about Judy stepping down. He went through a whole list of academic achievements by the university which really impressed me and made me think how he has become a part of the university. I so hope he loves it enough here to turn down cash in order to stay at a place he is comfortable with...I know I may be dreaming.

Also very aggressive.  How many 4th downs have we already attempted?

And if we stay aggressive on defense (no prevent), then I hope he stays for a long time.
