Chicago hotel strike continues and it affects JW Marriott, Palmer House, Hyatt Regency and others.  Expect delays on check in due to uncleaned rooms and closed bars and restaurants.

BULLSHIZIT  LOL       We are at the W City Center, one of the hotels.   I better get a few free drinks out of this.

Sorry, hotel bartenders are on strike.  Maybe they'll let you make your own.

This is all we needed to top our day.  After getting a no response from the VRBO facility that we booked months ago over the past few days, we got on Hotwire and ended up with the Hyatt Regency.  Just great. Just freakin great.  The restaurant we booked for Thursday night screwed up the reservation we made on Open Table.

The Bulls better win this game.

If I went I would stay in the suburbs and drive in for the game.

Another option-- AirBnB-- they are not on strike.

The W City Center has some extremely small rooms. Not all of them, but the bathrooms are so small you can simultaneously sit on the toilet, wash your hands in the sink and shampoo your hair in the shower.  You might consider changing hotels.  The location on Adams isn’t exactly optimal.  I’ve got an office on Michigan Ave across the street from “the bean” and I’ve stayed in many of the hotels in Downtown.  I think you might be better served going to the River North area. I booked a room for a meeting this week on Hotwire for $160 in the Mag Mile-Gold Coast sector on their app and got the Viceroy.
