Basebulls in the pros - Hitters

Last baseball update of the year unless there is a major promotion or something, which could happen as team can expand their rosters on 9/1. 
 

• Kevin Merrell was injured (hamstring, I think) and is now working his way back to Stockton. After a rehab assignment in Arizona he is back up with Vermont where he played last year. Hopefully he comes around in time to make it to the playoffs which Stockton will be a part of due to winning their division the first half of the season (which honestly is something the MLB should do, basically 2 - 81 game seasons with the winner of each making it to the playoffs) . Anywho, KMs avg is hovering around .265  
• David Villar is still with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in the northwest league but have been eliminated from the playoffs. DV is hitting .269 but slugging 0.519  with 19 doubles and 11 home runs
• Mr All Star MVP Coco Montes is still lighting up his league hitting .343 with 16 doubles, 2 trips and 8 homers. His on base % is a ridiculous 0.417 and his team, the Grand Junction Rockies,  are currently 1.5 games up in the second half of the Pioneer league with 6 to play. 
  
  Overall the boys are hitting .298, slugging 0.456 with an OB% of .355. 46 doubles, 8 triples and 19 home runs. 127 runs scored and 108 RBIs, all in 187 appearances and 752 official ABs
  
  Until the spring, baseball is out.
