Outlook: How good is Mitch Wilcox at the TE position? Well, take this quote from CCS today, "I don't know that there is a better player in the country right now than Mitch Wilcox." He didn't say TE, he said player. He is so good that Kano Dillon, a highly touted recruit, graduated a year early and transferred to Oregon, presumably because he had been surpassed by the younger Wilcox. Adding to the TE depth will be Jacob Mathis, a four-star recruit that some services had as the #1 TE in the nation coming out of high school, as well as the talented redshirt freshman Lloyd and this might be the most talent and depth USF has ever had at the TE position. 

The future outlook is bright, but there is a chance that Wilcox could jump for the NFL after his junior season. Chris Carter will add depth in future seasons and could be challenging for playing time by next season.

We have serious DEPTH at TE . . .

Wilcox is my most recent "Locker All-Star" and love the kid, but he had too many drops last season.

Excited about this season and hope we get lots of balls going their way ... snapping the ball every 10-15 seconds will help.
