That over the last 34 games, USF has the 6th best record in all of FBS? Pretty darn impressive no matter the level of competition. 

1. Alabama - 32-2

2. Clemson - 30-4

3. Ohio St. - 29-5

3. Oklahoma - 29-5

3. Wisconsin - 29-5

6. USF (aka South Florida) - 28-6

Feel free to add other statistically interesting facts to this thread as we wait for the next 5 days and 1.5 hours to tick by before game time!

As a person who follows the FCS due the University I work at I would add that that once get passed #8 in the nation the rankings are very fluid and change more quickly than 1a teams. Further, there is an extreme drop off after the top 12. Also, keep in mind that the FCS playoffs were increased in teams a few years ago so getting into the playoffs is not like it once was. That being said, we need to be focused this week. I am sure this guys remember last year’s game and that will make a difference.
