I can’t wait to see if CWT knows what to do if he ever gets to #2. He certainly has yet to achieve any sustained success in his coaching life. His only time in life with any measurable success was 1.5 years here where he never came close to a #2 ranking, for even a micro second much less maintaining it for a week. That’s what the follow up question should have been. Coach tell us about a time where you maintained any kind of ranking or had any form of measurable sustained success. Nothing beats a lecture on success from a guy with a losing record that has as many FCS losses here as he has bowl wins.

Pretty accurate assessment.  I understand not wanting to see that in print, but if teams like Rutgers proved too much for us after beating ranked teams, I can't argue with it.

Accurate or not, print or not, it's pretty rich that a guy who's never actually won a bowl game as head coach is taking shots like that.

The comment is true but unnecessary.  He would not be where he’s at today if not for Joe Kinnan, Quinton Flowers, Marlon Mack etc

Exactly.  Our plan at the time was aptly named, "How to get to #2 and No Higher".  I guess in all the excitement, someone forgot to pull down the next plan in the series.

Of course we then just got on the bus until his players told him how to run the offense.
