It’s always great to have something to prove. It’s a good motivator for the season to get into the top 25.

Did anyone really expect us to be in that T25?

These pre-season polls are about placating the P5 homers while sprinkling in a couple of token G5 teams to keep it from looking totally biased. UCF & BSU were easy picks.

We have a ton of weapons on offense and a lot returning on defense. Not receiving a single AP vote is worthy of having to prove something. The ranking is pointless, but there are teams that received votes that we’re better than. Also something worthy of proving.

This team will be even better next year. Fewer questions going into the season and an excellent schedule.
