He was fired by Stoops, to save Stoops in my opinion. Frost had one great season as a head Coach. Year one was rather Blah, with many late game coaching blunders. He could not take a time out to save his or his teams life in several games, namely Temple IIRC.

Year two was magical. Lets not make him  Coaching Saint just quite yet.

He took a team that was 0-12 and made them 6-6, what more did you want?

They fired him because despite having a ton of talent, they were the fourth best offense in the big 12 during his tenure.

How quickly they turn ...

Despite all GOL did to build them to where they are today, with obvious bumps in the road, I recall some of their fans constantly ******** about him.

Often top 10 in total O, Big game Bob needed to shoot  someone. He chose Josh and the other Co O coordinator. Co  O coordinators, dumb in my view.

Mizzou 2016, out of top 50. 2017 NCAA #13. Not  terrible.

Just my opinion.

My opinion. You lost one of the top five offensive minds in the country. And you didn’t replace him any of the other four.

Don’t call me dumb if you don’t get it.

I never came close to calling you dumb, nor even insinuated it.  No need to bring attention to that.

You're basically saying a spread option is both one decision AND win win? If it's that simple and foolproof one must wonder why it isn't everywhere.  I mean, its so straight forward why would a coaching change even register? The coach isn't telling the kid what to do in the one decision option, and its all aces anyway.....well, you said it, not me.

I think you realized the err of your statement and filled in the blank for yourself on that one.

The spread option is an offensive scheme that works at all levels of football. The key to a successful option attack is a smart and athletic QB that can make the correct reads. This new phenomenon has sparked some controversy with football purists, stating that the option hurts a QB's development as a pure pocket passer. Less focus is placed on their footwork and progressions, and more is placed on agility and knowing which defender to read

But now I feel bad so let me help you out now that I'm at a computer.

It works at all levels because of the pressure it takes off of the QB. Most high schools are now turning to some form of the spread option because its easier to find an athlete that can throw than it is to find a QB that can read and go through progressions. Not everyone does it because some coaches still want to develop pro style QB's that can easily transition to the NFL and lack of progressions stunts their growth. Its why every top level spread option QB from Marcus Mariota to Deshawn Watson gets questions on their ability to transition to the NFL.

Its the fastest growing Offense for a reason. You should give the article I posted a read. its a good one.
