Why would they build that when there is a perfectly good NFL stadium? Just isn't feasible ....... 3 hours ago, Triple B said: I've never really wondered ..... most are because of necessity. At 4.5% for 30 years, that's an annual debt service payment of $6.1 million. Makes sense. We are not going to sell bonds to cover the whole thing. There is a way for it to work. How did this fanbase get to a point where a new sexy building was more important than that?

I honestly believe when the OCS is built the attendance will explode. If you're talking about student attendance exploding, probably, hopefully, correct. Absolutely nothing's been presented to evidence that non-student attendance would increase, however .... if there was, the ocs would be a lot more of a front burner project than now. Get 240 TBP'ers together and draw straws. Each then buys a $1m insurance policy on the lucky guy, payable to USF Athletics OCS Fund, and we then call Cousin Vinny to take care of business. Done. 2

We are losing our ass on the lease agreement to use Ray Jay. The stadium shortfall is $110 million for the type preferred by those polled, Colorado States. That’s a massive amount. Is increased student attendance not enough of a reason to move forward? Students eventuallly turn into non-students with memories of what it was like to attend as students. But this is progress for you, glad you are coming around.
