$240M at 4% over 50 years, not including taxes or insurance is $1M monthly.

Go for it.  Smart investment.

Not necessarily.  You don't know what the debt service on the stadium would be.

You think it will be more than $11 million?

According to @Bausfkid it would be $12 million not including taxes and insurance (if $240 million were financed).

I think we were 3rd or 4th in the AAC last season ........ plus butts in seats aren't building stadiums.

I see that.  Are we going to finance $240 million?  How much are we losing each year under the current arrangement?  We pay $400K per home game just to use the stadium according to Knight plus all the lost revenue and other expenses incurred

Put emotions aside and do the math.  Think about if it were your own money.  Would you make the investigation.

I want an OCS as much as the next fan.  However, it doesn't make financial sense.  It's not going to happen.

I'm sure that they wouldn't want to finance the entire amount.  I don't know how much in donations they feel they need to go ahead and pull the trigger.  I keep playing PowerBall and MegaMillions hoping that I'd be able to help out but that hasn't worked yet.

Why not build a 25,000 or 30,000 seat stadium with some boxes for the Ironbulls and just move on from there.   IPF has to come first.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
