Head coach Charlie Strong to be joined by Ronnie Hoggins, Kirk Livingstone, Eric Mayes and Tyre McCants in Newport, R.I., July 23-24
 
TAMPA, JULY 18, 2018 – With six weeks remaining until the start of the 2018 season, Head Coach Charlie Strong and four Bulls players will head to Newport, R.I., on Monday to take part in the American Athletic Conference Summer Kickoff and Media Days, which will run through Tuesday at Gurney's Newport Resort and Marina.
 
Seniors Ronnie Hoggins (Nickel), Tyre McCants (WR), and Eric Mayes (T) and junior Kirk Livingstone(DE) will join Strong for the two days of events in Newport that will feature 43 student-athletes and The American's 12 head coaches.
 
Events begin Monday with an afternoon of photo shoots and television interviews before the conference's signature New England-style clambake on the banks of Narragansett Bay in the evening. Media Day activities hit full swing Tuesday morning, highlighted by Coaches' Roundtables featuring three groups of four conference coaches and moderated by ESPN's Kevin Negandhi. Strong will join the roundtable event from 11:15-11:45 a.m.
 
The American Digital Network will stream live from both Monday's clambake (7-8 p.m.) and Tuesday's media sessions (8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.). The stream can be viewed through the American Digital Network Plus Facebook page.
 
SiriusXM's ESPNU Radio (Channel 84) will also originate live from Newport during the event.
 
Fans can also follow the Bulls at the Summer Kickoff and Media Days on the USF Football social channels on Twitter (@USFFootball), Instagram (USFFootball) and Facebook (/South Florida Football).

The ESPN3 coverage is abbreviated. If you want to see the whole thing get on AAC Digital Network or Facebook live starting tomorrow at 8:30am.

Yes, but it’s live. Never know when something newsworthy is going to happen.
