 Because how much worse could the kicking game be? Might as well do a student tryout.

Kicking game is officially my greatest worry going into next year. It can literally win or lose three games.

I’ve heard that CCS didn’t place a lot of focus on special teams while at Texas. If last year was any indication I’m a bit concerned. Our kicking game was strong but everything else special teams related was terrifying.

Need a decent kicker, Delbert Alvarado's pitiful kicks verse Auburn nearly cost USF one of it's greatest victories

To be fair... Alvarado was a PUNTER... not a kicker.

However xCJL never brought a good kicker to the program so Alvarado was forced to do double duty as kicker and punter.  This was finally rectified when Bonani was brought in as a kicker, which allowed Alvarado to focus back to punting.
