Florida fans are smart enough to put 3 and 6 together when the season is over and we have a lot more wins than the previous few years.

It's pretty clear we just want to be mediocre. That said, after the past couple of years, mediocre doesn't sound so horrible.

I believe the staff thinks we have to build up they guys confidence and the easiest way to do so it to win games. Next season I would look for a more challenging schedule especially if Coach Gregory believes they can make the tourney.

It's about development and getting better, building skills, building a team. Assuming CBG intends the conference games to be the tougher opposition on which to build greater skills is enough for this patchwork team.

But you're not trying to resurrect a program. I agree with you from a development standpoint. You get better against better competition. But, the USF program has to balance out WINS with development. This thin non-con schedule is hopeful to do just that. I don't really mind it, but if I were CBG, I'd like a tough opponent or two tossed in there before conference play.
