Can't do a UT Rushmore without the Tooz.

Thought of him, too, but I can't take anyone off there to put him on ... Sloth had some serious off the field issues.

I know we're USF centric here, but Tino's amateur/Tampa accolades are impossible to omit from a Tampa Rushmore.

He was a Golden Spikes finalist and we've NEVER had a finalist for that award or the football equivalent Heisman. Not to mention his Olympic time.

Why is one person's list more important than another's list?

It's summertime. We need to wait it out for football to start...

I finally watched the C-USA-Big East Game where we beat Pitt @Pitt. Awesome game. I only listened when it happened. Man, MB can throw... He's like Flowers, except maybe slower and more accurate on shorter passes at times. No, I had never seen MB play... Was always working or whatever. Only listened.

Go Bulls!

Did you catch the last few seconds...McMurphy (who was writing in Tampa at the time) runs up and congratulates Blackwell with a huge smile and black slap. Strange he was actually happy for the program at the time.

Easily, Grothe for me. He made USF relevant in Tampa during his time. Seems invaluable to me at this point.

Yes, I was very surprised to see him smile.

What's a "black slap"?

LOL, yeah I know it's a typo but, had to laugh none the less.

A lot of people, Bulls fans, weren't around in the Marquel days.  He often gets overlooked in the annual preseason "who was best" discussions.  He was always one of my favorites, and won some big games.  When compared to his predecessor, Chad Barnhardt, he was thought to be a more mobile QB but he also proved to be a very good passer.  True dual threat.

Joey Knight comparing USF to UT, further proof that he can't be trusted to represent USF.

He represents The Tampa Bay Times not USF.
