And I was just pointing out that penalizing BB for not being able to beat out Hurts, but not doing the same for BK or CO is ridiculous.

Oh I see what you mean. I can agree with that. It’s a somehwhat similar situation aside from us not having five stars and competing for a national championship and what not. I’m wondering what made Saban go with BB out of the gate in 2016

I'm going with Chris O. Maybe now he/they have a little more competition and it makes them both step up their game a notch. Then mobility wins out.

BB had a year on Hurts so I think Saban gave him a chance but if I remember correctly, Saban had always planned for both of them to play that game and Hurts won the job that Saturday.

Makes sense. I just hope the game vs Elon isn’t a nightmare because they can’t decide on a QB
