He was part of the College Football Playoffs committee and has a lot of P5 connections. Maybe a few of his old coworkers can vote us into the playoffs when we go undefeated in 2019 :)

That previous job is part of what makes it a better hire than most of us were expecting. Now he just has to show he can make it rain.

I think we can go with the plan that he will be squeaky clean....two guys that he looks up to are Joe Gibbs and Tim Duncan....not bad people to try to emulate.

Unless we have 2 searches going on at the same time ....

Kelly was selected after a national search announced by the university on June 4.

I'm going to reserve comment until after his first year of service. As for the job title, I'm inclined to believe the title was a condition of acceptance of the job. He did leave a fairly lucrative position to return to USF. The title change may be just to emphasis the importance placed upon the position at this time. Who knows.

Must admit that I had never heard of Michael Kelly till today but with everything I’ve read I couldn’t be happier about his selection.  Now let’s build the **** IPF and OCS and get in to a P5.  Lots of work to do Mr. Kelly.  Welcome aboard and glad to have you back in Bulls Nation!
