So that Spain vs Portugal game was pretty good. The tournament is about to kick into high gear this weekend. Any thoughts on who’s going to hoist the trophy?

Uruguay - Egypt was pretty good too this morning.

I'll go with France, not quite a dark horse, but still not the favorite.

That Morocco vs Iran game wasn’t very good. I’m pulling for Brazil . I think that Germany vs Mexico game has potential classic written all over it. If Mexico can play to its potential Germany should be faced with a stout early test.

The US should get about 60 games for the 2026 World Cup. They say Florida will host a few games, but the only cities being mentioned are Miami & Holando. Commentators give Miami the edge though.

They’re thinking solely about at ticket sales. Chicago opted out of the bid so they won’t host any games, unless something changes. The confederation has a little over two years to finalize the stadiums.

Side note: I don’t really care who plays at Azteca but I want to go to game there. Going to a World Cup game there would be amazing. I’ve been to the Maracanã a number of times, and can only wish Brazil will get another shot at hosting so I can see a World Cup game there as well.

so Miami has a plan to finally field a team by 2020. They were awarded a team back in 2014.

Messi needs to turn the keys to Argentina over to Dybala. That kid is the future for them

Nigeria is giving Croatia too much space and their attack looks disjointed. I expected more from them. Hopefully they pick it up as the game goes on
