While doing anything I could besides work and looking for something to fill this 63 day stretch until the first (currently) scheduled USF event I stumbled upon the Northwoods league where  Carson Ragsdale is playing summer ball for the Madison Mallards.

"Madison designated hitter Carson Ragsdale (South Florida) had a hit and drew two walks in his first game batting for the Mallards. Ragsdale has already pitched out of the bullpen but made his first plate appearances today."
https://northwoodsleague.com/madison-mallards/2018/06/10/mallards-win-on-hiskys-walk-off-dinger/

He's pitched 2.2 innings with no ER and he has gone 1-3 from the plate with an on-base avg of .600

Good find....I guess because we have a number of juniors (to be seniors) we weren’t as appetizing to the Cape Cod league - I found no Bulls there.

Rags tour up the league last year, but that didn't exactly translate to the college season.

Found another, Jake Sullivan is playing for the Savannah Bananas of the Coastal Plain League. I'm guessing he is our Catcher post Deets. He's batting .563 through 5 games.....

I don't know, I think he did pretty well. He's was only 1 of 5 pitchers and the only underclassman on the team to appear in more than 15 games. His ERA was fair @ 3.48 and he had 10+ K/9IP, I'm guessing he is our closer next year.

I think Jordan Santos is back next year too.  No telling who's better at this point.  Neither have done anything.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
