I’m guessing that he realizes that, like a lot of us, that level of interest/success is probably not coming back under our current conference affiliation. Also, unless I’m mistaken, the level of interest back then didn’t come with a financial commitment, ie donor levels, that fit the level of success. What he'd take over here was nowhere near what he took over in L'ville. Two biggest selling points in coming here, area and huge challenge.

No better place for him right now than USF. Hope we land him, and land the big fish with enough donations to keep us all happy.
