We are however and he is respected at the Foundation. Don't know if he'll be considered for the permanent job. I would think so but who knows. Actually took the time to text me when my mom passed. Harlan was too busy looking for a job, not that I ever expected to hear from him.

These are very good points. Wondered the same thing. Also, how much does a search firm cost? I mean everyone in the country knows the job is open. Not sure if he was there when that selection was made. Was told way back that the person that was running the Sports Management Program pushed for Harlan when no one else knew much about him. So if the same guy I'm less hopeful than I was before this was announced. Dr. Bill Sutton, professor in the Muma College of Business and director of the Vinik Sport & Entertainment Management Program MH apparently did a good enough job here to attract a P5 so the guy apparently knew something, if it was that guy ...... and I've certainly got no problem with someone attached with two of the top notch sports names in the Tampa Bay area.
