Would love to, but not in the cards this time around.  Chicago and Philly for me.

The stadium on campus is adjacent to a light rail station, so you may want to look for accommodations near another station to avoid traffic and parking hassles .

Hobby Airport is much closer to campus than IAH, and Southwest has non-stops there.  It's probably 30 mins to campus from there, about an hour's drive from IAH.

We plan on making the trip but usually drive.  Make a 2 night stop in Biloxi on the way there and back.  Believe we have Thur thru Sat nights booked in Houston.  Towne Place Suites Houston Galleria is our hotel.

Houston has a nice breakfast spot called Breakfast Klub, it's a line to get in, but the food is good.

Working on a possible bookend trip, catching USF-HOU, then WVU-UT the next weekend (for my WVU spouse, who has gone on more USF road trips than WVU).

Could wind up working out.  I'm not a big fan of Houston, but could be a fun week of checking out Texas...during a cool part of the year.

Depending upon kickoff time, I could be flying out of Tampa in the morning and back that night. Current RT is $170... But it only works for a 3:30 or 4:00 kickoff.

I own townhome near Downtown Houston in Midtown. I live a block from "2808 Caroline St, Houston, TX 77004" and if anyone looking to save some $ if want to look at staying my place let me know (would get couch or air mattress, possibly guest bedroom if roommate no longer here.) I live less than 10 minutes from TDECU stadium. If anyone looking for recommendations on sights/restaurants please ask!

I saw somewhere that the new visitor section is 121 in the endzone with overflow to level 300 sections.
