USF never fails --the drama continues!

I was thinking that it had been fairly peaceful and quiet since USF hired Strong.

Buckle up! --Let's see how this turns out.

We need somebody with Florida, Tampa and P5 connections -who can do a great job.

So happy right now too

USF athletic director Mark Harlan headed to Utah

A month after signing a contract extension with USF, athletic director Mark Harlan has been hired for the same job at Utah.

Sources close to Harlan indicated Friday the Los Angeles native was headed back West, and Utah confirmed the news late Friday afternoon.

Harlan replaces Chris Hill, who retired after 31 years at Utah. According to the terms of the new contract he signed in April, Harlan would owe USF $262,500 — an amount equal to half his base salary — if he resigns before July 1, 2020.

"I am humbled to follow in the footsteps of Chris Hill and to build on the strong foundation already in place," Harlan said in a statement released by Utah....

What would be the response if they went with Derrick Brooks?

He'd have the most national name recognition.  Higgins would be my first choice.

Academically, yes. It was a joke.
