Thanks Bausfkid.

Due to complaints from members recently about mindless , and I mean mindless, down votes or reputation I have made all votes viewable to the member that received them.  Please be responsible.  I don't work on this site daily and for 19 years for some "members' to run amok instilling distrust and dislike for others here.

My ask is that if you are reviewing your reactions and wish to file a complaint, do it with me.  DO NOT approach the member that gave you a bad reaction.  

Also, knowing that idiots will down vote anything because they don't think they will be caught, know that while it counts in your reputation, it was set up to NOT take away points - which are equally or more valuable.

Please ask any questions here.  Thanks.

Absolutely. But this guy was voting even when I just posted info. It was totally out of hand.

That definitely has happened .... I've seen Brad's game contest posts with a down vote .... but there have been times when people have gotten their dander up on a personal level when it's pretty obvious that the down vote was disagreeing with the post content. Personally, I think down voting is chicken**** (even though I may have done some in the past). If I've got a real problem with a post's content, I'll reply voicing that problem.

Yep! 100%...I would much rather “read” why someone disagrees than just giving a down vote. IMO pretty indicative of society today as some find that exhausting I suppose. I get that someone disagrees but I think being legitimate about it is key. Glad the policy is now changed where we know.
