only difference for us is an opening round game against Michigan.

I would say if we win 6 of 8 and win the AAC tourney we have a good chance to host.  Gonna be tough to do though.

I think no matter what we do. We will need a lot of help to host. I’m satisfied with going to Athens as a 2. Anywhere but Gainesville is a great spot.

This projection has 2 AAC teams hosting ( Uconn, ECU) and three other AAC teams in the dance (USF, UCF, Houston). A sixth is listed is listed in the “last 5 out” (WSU). A potential 6 teams!!

Athens would create a better opportunity than any regional in Florida

I'm with you. Not that I'm scared of UF more than any other #1 seed, I just think getting out of town for our regional would let us play a little more loose.

That’s true. Getting out of Florida could have a relaxing effect. But I also just don’t see Singer and Kowar losing in one regional or either of them losing twice. So to me they are the hardest 1 to get through. I saw yesterday where the guys at D1 named them as one of his four guarantees to go to Omaha. I would say the same thing about Standford and Oregon State but we don’t have to worry about going west right now.
