the kind that crash

So Tampa has no mass transit because trains crash on occasion?  Good thing there are no traffic accidents every morning in Tampa.

Give her credit for her game against Notre Dame this year, she almost single handedly beat a top 5 team.

I was there for that one and she did play great.  And we can't win without her.  But when she goes cold...........

Lived in Philly for five years while I taught at Penn and Drexel. The subway system there is "fair" at best. The rail out to the burbs was pretty good but that subway system was limited, late, and nasty.

@NewEnglandBull Oh wow, what did you teach at Drexel? My wife graduated there with a degree in Economics and a minor in creative writing (or something of that nature!)

Taught there while I was just finishing up my dissertation (1997-98). Taught leadership and two terms of business foundations. As I recall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Having that win against ND would probably mean we're a #4 seed and hosting the opening weekend.

That said, great step forward as we're now a 6 seed in bracketology from Charlie Creme. Slim chance, but if we beat UConn at least once then no doubt we host.

Right now we'd be playing in the Albany regional. FGCU is more than beatable, to do so sets up a chance to upset current national champion South Carolina. That track would eventually have us facing off against UConn a third or fourth time. Perhaps the key? We've never played them in the NCAA tournament.

Bulls are ranked in the ap at 22. Ohio State only went down 3 spots.

Can you imagine if the roles were reversed?  If a 13 ranked USF team lost to an unranked G5 school we'd be out of the Top 25 or darn close.

It’s hard to be a top 10 team without ever having beaten a top 10 team.

What did losing to WSU, currently ranked 150 do to USFs ranking?

I get the distinct feeling you were disappointed they won on Sunday ... although it hasn't slowed you down too much.

Too bad we still have to play UCONN twice more.

It really won't hurt us either way, but we need all of our players to compete for the full 40 minutes. With all the Laksa love this week (and deservedly so) she quit in the UCONN game. They frustrated her and took her out of her comfort zone and she wilted away into nothing. Her body language was atrocious and she brought the team down with her. Not that we should expect to win against UCONN (out Euro player's skill sets just don't match up well against them) but we have to show that we can at least compete with them. Lose by 19 or less, not 30 or more.
