If it is at Solider Field (which it appears more and more likely that this remains the case, since USF changed their website in the last 24 hours), then I am definitely in. 

Champaign... not so sure.

I think it is great that it has been moved back to Soldier Field.  I already have four going with the possibility of 2-4 more joining us.

Grew up in Schaumburg and Barrington.  Huge Cubbie fan growing up.  Glad to hear they will be playing at Wrigley that weekend as well.  This will be a very similar trip to Notre Dame a few years ago (stayed in Chicago) except I'll bring the whole family this time.

There was a pretty good turnout for the Notre Dame game AND the Cubs game that weekend.  I was surprised at the amount of USF gear inside Wrigley.

Born in Peoria. Have family members that are Cardinal fans, but I grew up a Cubs fan. Was lucky to get to the Cubs at Reds game in 2016 when I went to the Cincy/USF game. Cubs ended up winning the whole thing about a month later. If the game is at Soldier Field and that is a big IF, I plan on going.

Any idea why the game is in Chicago?  The stadium will be pretty empty. 

Regardless, this seems very fun for a family trip. Considering it....
