It’s not a loser mentality, it’s what you signed up for. Take it or leave because the system doesn’t need any of the G5. If you want a chance at a seat in the playoffs, you have to schedule a team better than Maryland and schedule two of them. If that can’t happen, call them out about that. You can’t just pretend to be something you’re not. It just makes the G5 look like a joke.

I mean, why not? The teams in the "Playoff" are determined by the opinions of a committee. What's to say that their opinions are worth squat? UCF has essentially done the same thing-expressed an opinion. That opinion could be worth squat too, but now everyone is talking about the opinions. 

The national champion per the CFP didn't defeat 2 of the top 4 teams in the country, they defeated what people "said" were two of the top four teams in the country. 

Bridges burned? Well, let's see.

UCF will be better next year. Just like this year, the replacements are stepping off the ladder at a higher level. Combined with the three recent big time transfers, including the native Orlando area Ole Miss transfer yesterday that will be eligible in 2018 it looks like, next year will be a very good year for UCF IMO.
