Man Flowers got tackled 5 ft into the sidelines and the refs let it slide

And then called an unsportsmanlike on Alaka, IIRC.

I found it hilarious that the TT board posters were complaining that the refs were biased in OUR favor.

There's a difference between being POOR and being BIASED.

I think the Bulls fans have been thinking they just did a crappy job.  If TTU thinks they were biased, that tells you a lot about those guys.

Don't remember what thread it was in, but there was a comment about whether we should have kicked out of bounds when we were kicking from the 20 after the 15-yard penalty (maybe for removing a helmet?)

Found the rule. It's a 30-yard penalty, so they would have received the ball at the 50. No advantage to kicking it out of bounds.

 https://www.ruletool.info/ncaa-rule-6-kicks/2/

SECTION 2. Free Kick Out of Bounds

ARTICLE 1. Kicking Team

A free kick out of bounds between the goal lines untouched by an inbounds player of Team B is a foul. (A.R. 6-2-1:I-II) (A.R. 4-2-1:III)

PENALTY –
Live-ball foul. Five yards from the previous spot; or five yards from the spot where the subsequent dead ball belongs to Team B; or the receiving team may put the ball in play

30 yards beyond Team A’s restraining line at the hash mark [S19].

For an interesting possibility on what would happen if you actually caught it with your feet out of bounds, yes it is possible (at least in the NFL) to catch it at the 1 and start fro the 35. Whouldathunkit ?!?!?!!?
