Hi Guest,

In our efforts to raise funds for USF Football, the site is giving away a football season full of ad-free surfing at The Bulls Pen.

Would you consider buying a ticket or two to the raffle that will award this to you or a fellow member of the board?

Each ticket purchase goes directly to our effort to raise $10K in "fan money" for the program.  Below is the link:

GAME DAY vs. Red Raiders

USF will make its third straight bowl appearance and ninth overall (5-3) as the Bulls return to the Birmingham Bowl for the second straight year. USF has won four of its last five bowl games, downing a pair of Power6 opponents (Clemson & South Carolina) in that span. The Bulls will face Texas Tech for the first time and take on a Big 12 team for the first time in a bowl game. The Bulls have faced four Power6 opponents in bowl games, going 2-2. USF is 1-3 all-time vs. Big 12 teams, having downed No. 11 Kansas, 37-34, in Tampa in 2008.

BIRMINGHAM: USF will be making its third bowl appearance in Birmingham. The Bulls are 2-0 all-time at Legion Field in bowl games, having downed ECU, 24-7, in the first Birmingham Bowl (then PapaJohns Bowl) in 2006. The Bulls downed South Carolina, 46-39, in overtime in last year’s Birmingham Bowl. USF’s third apperance in the bowl will mark the most of any team. Birmingham (3) and Charlotte (2) are the only locales USF has played more than one bowl game among its nine appearances in 17 years of eligibility.

2016 MVP FLOWERS RETURNS IN ELITE COMPANY: Quinton Flowers earned MVP honors in the 2016 Birmingham Bowl after totaling 336 yards (rushing for 105) and 5 touchdowns in the game, including the game winning 25-yard TD pass in overtime. With 11,385 career total yards, Flowers enters the 2017 game needing just 47 yards to break the American Conference career total offense record. He is just the 7th FBS player to post 7,000 passing and 3,000 rushing yards on a career and just the 6th to post at least 60 passing and 40 rushing TD.

Gonna be a shootout!  Looks like the rain should stop before kickoff now.  Thank goodness!  I want full mobility and offensive firepower availability for our boys.

Go Bulls!

Not many here yet. Parked in front row. Windy day here. Does that help or hurt?

Onsite here ... miserable right now with the rain but weather.com says it should be done about 30 min. after kickoff.

Man, I'm so excited for this game and sad at the same time. Going to try to enjoy watching Q play one last time. I guess I'll figure out how to enjoy the off season and look forward to next year. Go Bulls.
